Students will compose, set up and complete a still life painting. Learning topics will include still life composition, paint handling, lighting, and oil painting techniques and materials. Brian will share his experiences on still life painting and how to overcome common difficulties that may occur during the process.

About ARA Workshops
The Academy is committed to ensuring that each workshop participant goes home with as much knowledge as possible. Workshops will include discussions of technique, problem solving strategies and historical background balanced with adequate working time to practice the information covered. Each workshop instructor will provide students with individual critique and attention and strive to answer questions and help resolve difficulties students may encounter. Early registration is required and is done by the submission of an online application form and remitting a $300 deposit.
