This workshop will explore an efficient and naturalistic way of drawing the figure while still understanding the structure and anatomy of the human body. Instructor Miriam Rosenthal will explore the quality and weight of line work in the block-in stage as well as showing the fine rendering of form that can be integrated with the underlying linear aspects of the drawing.
Anders Zorn achieved a versatile range of flesh tones with just four paints on his palette. This limited palette can teach students a streamlined way of capturing complex variations of colour. It's a great way for painters to build a solid foundation for colour mixing.
Join Robyn Asquini for a 3-day workshop where we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant world of the renowned Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida.
In this three day summer workshop, Miriam Rosenthal will take you step by step through the art of painting flowers from life using wet-on-wet painting method.
