Join us for group virtual learning and we will give you step-by-step guidance and personalized critiques to help you with program assignments or personal projects.
Come learn the same step-by-step methods taught in our regular program in an intensive format in our workshops. Students will learn skills in drawing and painting that can be applied to their own projects. Whether you are an experienced artist or have never painted before, our instructors will tailor to your skill level.

An intensive three day figure workshop where students will be working from the live model in a renaissance inspired method of drawing. You will have step-by-step guidance on how to accurately block in the gesture and anatomy of the figure as well as the “finishing” of the drawing.
In this 2-day intensive workshop, students will focus on the complete possible colour mixtures of Anders Zorn’s palette.
Join us for a three-day workshop, Portrait Painting From a Photo where we will explore the unique challenges of painting from a photograph and delve into the intricacies of conveying personality and expression in oil paintings.
Come explore Caravaggio's chiaroscuro approach, starting with his unique tri-tone approach to build the lights and establish the underpainting. Students will learn a specific step-by-step process to achieve an exact copy of a selected study.
Still life painting allows students to work with a variety of objects, explore composition, and practice creating shapes and building forms. Students will learn how to simplify a still life into abstract shapes in order to accurately draw the objects while using hard and soft edges and contrasting values to give it depth.
In this workshop, participants will be working from a live model while learning an efficient and expressive approach to painting with a limited palette. In this shorthand/direct method of painting, students will be instructed step-by-step through the process of painting a “finished” portrait sketch.
